Real estate agents love to tell you that it’s always a good time to buy or sell, but does that make sense? If it was always a good time to make a move, down markets wouldn’t exist. It makes you wonder: Is someone not telling the truth?
My goal is to cut through the noise, take the gloves off, and give it to you straight. I’ll discuss the relevant microeconomics, trend analyses, and national narratives to explain what they mean for Sonoma County.
I know what you’re probably thinking: Why should you listen to me? The truth is that I’ve been in a market like this one before. Back in 2006, my wife and I owned a ton of real estate projects. However, I sold them all and held onto my profits. Just a year or so later, the market bottomed out like we’d never seen before. Once things started to recover, my wife and I were able to buy some fantastic investments at bargain prices.
How did I know this would happen? Was I born with this information? Of course not! I had mentors and advisors who provided me with intimate market knowledge. My goal now is to be that real estate expert for you.
Maybe you already have an agent telling you it’s always a great time to buy or sell. If so, you don’t need another one. Who you really need is an educator—someone who can guide you through these uncertain times. The market will become more volatile in the next few years, but that means there will be more opportunities; you just need to know where to look for them.
